Who we are:

AYNI is a community-driven Bolivian initiative using skateboarding as a tool for social and educational transformation. We create free, safe, and inclusive spaces where young people can grow — on the board, and beyond it.

In the Andes, ayni means reciprocity — giving and receiving within a community. Everything we build, we build together.

It started in 2020, when a group of friends built a small obstacle in a forgotten plaza in El Alto — a response to the lack of safe spaces for young people. What began as a simple action quickly became a community.

Today, AYNI operates across La Paz and El Alto with three core programs: free skate sessions, public space transformation, and a leadership program for young women. Each session goes beyond sport — blending skateboarding with conversations about respect, inclusion, equality, and resilience.

At its core, AYNI is about community — creating environments where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and begin to see new possibilities for their future.
