Our Impact.

Five years. Three locations. Thousands of young people facing their fears.

La Paz — Pura Pura 1,971 session attendances Two sessions every weekend at the highest skatepark in the world. Here, targeted inclusion work brought girls' participation to 60% — a milestone for skateboarding in Bolivia.

El Alto 888 session attendances After finishing a community-built skatepark in early 2025, we ran weekend sessions for nearly 8 months — reaching ~45% girls' participation in a historically male-dominated scene.

Viacha 2,014 session attendances — our highest-attended location of the year. A weekly program in a community with no permanent skatepark. We brought portable ramps to the main square and built sustained demand from scratch.

Skateboarding has historically been male-dominated. In Bolivia, the gap is even wider.

We work intentionally to close it. Through safe spaces, dedicated programming, and content designed with and for young women, we ended 2025 with 54% female participation across all our sessions — and 60% in La Paz.

This isn't just a statistic. It's a shift in who gets to take up space in skateboarding.

Young Women’s Leadership Program

In partnership with Global Girl Project, we run an 11-session empowerment and leadership program for young women ages 13–18.

9 cohorts completed. ~90 young women trained in leadership, self-advocacy, and project design. 9 community projects designed and executed by graduates, addressing real issues in their own neighborhoods.

Each graduate receives an educational stipend upon completion.

2020 — AYNI begins. First DIY build in El Alto.

2021 — Partnership with Skateistan. Free skate classes launch at Pura Pura.

2022 — Expansion to El Alto and Viacha.

2023 — Local funding prize for public space rehabilitation. Partnership with Global Girl Project begins.

2024 — Awarded the Grassroots365 / Olympism365 Innovation Hub grant to build and activate a new skate space in El Alto.

2025 — Skatepark in El Alto completed. Ministerial recognition as a formally registered NGO.
